Warranty Policy
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
At Olive Jewelry, we are committed to offering high-quality jewelry and accessories designed to be enjoyed and cared for over time.
This Warranty Policy applies to eligible products purchased directly through olivejewelryy.com and explains the coverage, limitations, claim process, and remedies available under our limited warranty.
Subject to the terms below, eligible Olive Jewelry products are covered by a 365-day limited warranty beginning on the original date of purchase.
365-Day Limited Warranty
Eligible jewelry purchased directly from Olive Jewelry is covered against verified manufacturing defects for up to 365 days from the original purchase date.
Coverage is subject to inspection, verification, proper care, and the exclusions described in this Warranty Policy.
1. Warranty Period
Olive Jewelry provides a limited warranty for a period of 365 calendar days (1 year) from the original date of purchase for eligible products purchased directly through olivejewelryy.com.
Proof of purchase may be required to verify the original purchase date and determine whether an item remains within the applicable warranty period.
2. What the Warranty Covers
The Olive Jewelry limited warranty is intended to cover verified manufacturing defects that existed at the time of manufacture or that become apparent during normal and appropriate use.
Depending on the product and circumstances, covered defects may include:
- Defective clasps or closures caused by a manufacturing issue
- Improperly assembled components
- Loose components caused by a manufacturing defect
- Manufacturing-related structural defects
- Incorrect factory assembly
- Defects in workmanship
- Material defects verified by Olive Jewelry
- Other verified manufacturing defects affecting normal use
3. Gold-Plated Jewelry
Certain Olive Jewelry pieces feature an 18K gold-plated finish. Gold-plated jewelry consists of a base material covered with a layer of gold and should be cared for appropriately to preserve its appearance.
The 365-day warranty covers verified manufacturing defects related to the original product and its workmanship.
Natural changes to plating caused by regular wear, friction, skin chemistry, moisture, cosmetics, chemicals, or environmental exposure are not considered manufacturing defects.
4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or changes caused by circumstances unrelated to a manufacturing defect.
This includes, without limitation:
- Normal wear and tear
- Scratches caused by regular use
- Accidental damage
- Impact, crushing, pulling, bending, or dropping
- Improper handling
- Improper storage
- Exposure to water or excessive moisture
- Swimming pools, seawater, or chlorine
- Perfume, hairspray, lotions, creams, or cosmetics
- Cleaning chemicals or abrasive products
- Household chemicals
- Excessive perspiration
- Natural changes caused by skin chemistry
- Natural fading of plated finishes over time
- Damage caused by improper cleaning
- Loss of the entire piece
- Theft
5. Normal Wear Is Not a Manufacturing Defect
Jewelry is naturally exposed to friction, movement, moisture, cosmetics, skin oils, and environmental conditions during normal use.
As a result, gradual changes in appearance, minor scratches, surface marks, finish changes, or gradual fading may occur over time.
These changes are considered normal wear and are not automatically covered under the limited warranty.
6. Water and Moisture Exposure
Unless a product is specifically identified as suitable for continuous water exposure, customers should avoid wearing jewelry while showering, swimming, exercising, entering pools or hot tubs, or participating in activities involving prolonged exposure to moisture.
Damage or deterioration resulting from water, saltwater, chlorine, humidity, perspiration, or prolonged moisture exposure is not covered by this warranty unless Olive Jewelry determines that an independent manufacturing defect caused the problem.
7. Perfumes, Cosmetics and Chemicals
Customers should avoid direct contact between jewelry and perfume, lotions, makeup, hairspray, cleaning products, sanitizers, chlorine, and other chemicals.
Damage, discoloration, fading, or deterioration caused by chemical or cosmetic exposure is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered by this limited warranty.
8. Alterations and Third-Party Repairs
This warranty may become void if a product is altered, resized, repaired, modified, soldered, plated, refinished, or otherwise serviced by a person or business not authorized by Olive Jewelry.
Olive Jewelry is not responsible for damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations.
9. Lost or Missing Jewelry
The warranty does not cover jewelry that is lost, stolen, misplaced, discarded, or otherwise no longer in the customer's possession.
Olive Jewelry cannot provide warranty service for a product that cannot be physically inspected when inspection is reasonably required to verify a claim.
10. Loss of Stones or Components
Loss of stones, charms, clasps, links, or other components may be covered only when Olive Jewelry determines that the loss directly resulted from a manufacturing defect.
Components lost because of accidental impact, pulling, snagging, misuse, normal wear, or damage occurring after delivery are not covered by the limited warranty.
11. Warranty Claim Requirements
To submit a warranty claim, please contact Olive Jewelry and provide sufficient information for us to evaluate the issue.
A warranty request may require:
- Customer's full name
- Order number
- Email associated with the purchase
- Purchase date
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs or videos of the product
- Photographs showing the reported defect
- Additional information reasonably necessary to verify the claim
12. Proof of Purchase
Warranty coverage is available only for products that can reasonably be verified as having been purchased directly from Olive Jewelry or from another sales channel expressly authorized by Olive Jewelry.
We may request an order number, receipt, confirmation email, or other reasonable proof of purchase before processing a warranty claim.
13. Inspection and Verification
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification.
Olive Jewelry may evaluate photographs, videos, purchase records, customer information, the physical product, or other relevant evidence to determine whether the reported issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect.
Submission of a warranty claim does not automatically guarantee replacement, repair, store credit, or refund.
14. Available Warranty Remedies
If Olive Jewelry verifies that a product contains a defect covered by this limited warranty, we may provide an appropriate remedy.
Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include:
- Repair of the product
- Replacement of the defective component
- Replacement with the same product, when available
- Replacement with a comparable product
- Store credit when appropriate
- Another remedy required by applicable law
15. Warranty Does Not Automatically Provide a Cash Refund
Approval of a warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a monetary refund.
Olive Jewelry may repair or replace an eligible defective product or provide another appropriate remedy depending on product availability, the nature of the defect, and applicable law.
Refunds remain subject to our Return and Refund Policy and any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
16. Replacement Products
If an exact replacement is unavailable, Olive Jewelry may offer a comparable product or another reasonable solution.
Replacement products may vary slightly in appearance, packaging, finish, or minor design details due to availability or production changes.
17. Original Warranty Period
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, a repair or replacement does not automatically restart or extend the original 365-day warranty period.
Warranty coverage continues based on the original purchase date unless Olive Jewelry expressly provides additional coverage in writing.
18. Jewelry Care Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of their jewelry. Proper care helps preserve the appearance and condition of plated and finished pieces.
We recommend:
- Removing jewelry before showering or swimming
- Avoiding direct contact with perfume and cosmetics
- Keeping jewelry away from household chemicals
- Removing jewelry before exercise when appropriate
- Storing pieces separately in a clean, dry location
- Avoiding abrasive cleaning products
- Cleaning gently with an appropriate soft cloth
- Avoiding unnecessary pulling, bending, or impact
19. Unauthorized Sellers
Unless otherwise expressly stated by Olive Jewelry, this warranty does not apply to products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers, resale marketplaces, private individuals, or other sources that cannot be verified as authorized Olive Jewelry sales channels.
20. Warranty Is Limited to the Original Purchaser
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Olive Jewelry, this limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of the eligible product.
We may request documentation sufficient to confirm the original transaction.
21. Exclusions for Misuse or Abuse
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, improper care, unreasonable force, improper cleaning, or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
22. Cosmetic Variations
Minor differences in color, tone, texture, shape, dimensions, polish, surface appearance, or finish may occur due to photography, lighting, displays, manufacturing processes, and normal product variation.
Reasonable cosmetic variations that do not materially affect the functionality or quality of the product are not considered manufacturing defects.
23. Limitation of the Limited Warranty
This written warranty applies only to the specific coverage expressly described in this Policy.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any warranty, consumer protection, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable law.
24. Florida and United States Consumer Rights
Olive Jewelry operates from Miami, Florida, United States.
This limited warranty is intended to operate consistently with applicable Florida and United States laws concerning consumer sales and warranties.
Consumers may have additional legal rights that vary depending on applicable law. This Warranty Policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
25. Relationship to Our Return Policy
This Warranty Policy is separate from our Return and Refund Policy.
The 7-day period described in our Return and Refund Policy relates to qualifying return or order-related claims, while this Warranty Policy provides limited manufacturing-defect coverage for up to 365 days from the original purchase date.
